Kajetan Borecki enters his first season with the Gators staff in 2018 as the Volunteer Assistant Coach.
Coaching Experience
Currently serves as head coach of the Vision Club Gainesville volleyball team.
Before coming to Gainesville, he coached at NCAA Division II Valdosta State from 2016-18 as both interim head coach and assistant coach. He served as interim head coach for three months in 2018 before graduating with his masters. In his two years as assistant coach, he was in charge of designing practices, game tactics, and directing defensive and offensive game plans.
Borecki was also responsible for video breakdown and game analysis with the team members.
Was the head coach at Prostyle Volleyball Club (16U & 17U) in Tallahassee as well.
Collegiate Career
Borecki played collegiate volleyball at Division I NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology), where he earned a spot on the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association All-Academic Team.
Before attending NJIT, he played at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, where he was a NAIA honorable mention selection. The team was MAMVIC Conference Champions and NAIA national semifinalists in 2012.
Professional Playing Experience
Was a member of two elite professional volleyball teams:
CAJVB PARIS (France)
BBTS Bielsko-Biala (Poland)
Borecki was MVP of the Bieslko-Biala Cup in 2010 and won the Slaskie State Championship. His squad also finished eighth in the Polish National Final Championship.
Competed in multiple international tournaments in seven different countries (Italy, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic)
Education
Earned his Masters of Business Administration from Valdosta State University in May of 2018.
Graduated with his Bachelor of Science in International Business degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in May of 2015.
