TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Freshman Johannes Ingildsen is once again dominating another preseason tournament at the ITA Regional Championships Presented by Oracle. He will be competing in both the doubles semifinals, alongside teammate Alfredo Perez, and the consolation singles finals on Monday morning. The tournament is hosted by Florida State University and is played at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
Ingildsen and Perez hold the sixth seed in the doubles tournament, and have faced some tough competition in each round. The pair defeated No. 3 Lomacki/Andrews in the semifinals for the upset win, and will be tested in the semifinals when they face No. 1 Findel-Hawkins/Muscheites of UNF on Monday. Findel-Hawkins/Muscheites eliminated No. 5 Gators pair Maxx Lipman/Chase Perez-Blanco from the competition in the Round of 16 on Sunday.
The freshman from Copenhagen will also compete in the consolation finals tomorrow against Georgia Tech's Cole Fiegel. He defeated Georgia Tech's C. Yun 6-4, 7-5 in the consolation semifinals to advance to Monday's competition.
Competition will resume Monday in Tallahassee, and results will be updated throughout the day here. Both the main draw singles final and the consolation singles final will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the doubles semifinal and final rounds.

Winners of both the singles and doubles draws of the competition will receive an automatic bid into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. This competition, considered the second leg of the collegiate Grand Slam, will be held Nov. 3-6 in Flushing Meadows, NY.

Format & Scoring
- No-ad scoring will be used in all ITA singles and doubles matches in the fall season.
- In all 2016 ITA Regional Championships events a doubles match must consist of a minimum of an 8-game pro set (tiebreak at 7-all), with the semifinals and finals doubles matches consisting of two out of three sets, with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of the third set.
