No. 24 Gators Take On No. 22 Rebels on Sunday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 24 University of Florida men's tennis team will host its second consecutive Top-25 competitor in the No. 22 Ole Miss Rebels on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Ring Tennis Complex. Florida is currently 3-1 in SEC play this season.
The Orange and Blue are coming off their biggest win of the season with a 6-1 rout of the Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday night at the Ring Tennis Complex. UF grabbed the doubles point for the third consecutive match with Elliott Orkin and Maxx Lipman picking up their first SEC doubles victory. Orkin would go on to clinch the match for the Gators on court two.
UF completes its home stand against the Rebels and then will be on the road next weekend to face Mississippi State and Alabama.

The Gators were shut out, 4-0 by the Rebels on March 22, 2015.

Perez Impressing Early
Gator freshman Alfredo Perez is currently on a seven match winning streak in singles. The Havana, Cuba native has started SEC play 4-0 and is the only freshman in the conference with an undefeated singles record and a winning SEC doubles record.

The Orange and Blue have used eight different lineups in twelve matches this season. UF has compiled eight wins with four different Gators clinching the match victories.
