
Day 4 at the NCAA Championships: What to Expect

Gators conclude the 2016 NCAA Championships today.

ATLANTA -- The University of Florida women's swimming and diving teams will compete in their fourth and final day of competition at the 2016 NCAA Championships this afternoon. The Gators currently own 35.5 team points and look to build on their 19th-place standing.
Looking ahead at today's competition schedule, 11 Gators will have the opportunity to compete across four events in addition to the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay -- today's final event.
Who Competes Today:
Platform Diving
Kahlia Warner
- Is a 2016 two-time All-American after finishing sixth on the 1-Meter and third on the 3-Meter earlier this week.
- Finished 28th on the platform at the 2015 NCAA Championships with a score of 235.95.
- Boasts a career-best score of 326.45 from the 2015 NCAA Championships.
1,650 Freestyle
Autumn Finke
- Ranks 23rd Nationally in the event, owning a seed time of 16:11.00.
- Finished 24th in the event a season ago at the 2015 NCAA Championships (16:13.93).
- Took fourth at the 2016 SEC Championships in the event (16:11.00).
Jessica Thielmann
- Owns a season-best time of 15:56.32, which ranks sixth nationally in 2016.
- Finished second in the event at the 2016 SEC Championships (16:06.21).
- Owns a career-best time of 15:56.68 from her third-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Championships.
Hannah Burns
- Making her 1,650-Yard Freestyle NCAA debut.
- Ranks 46th nationally in the event, owning a season-best time of 16:21.14.
- Finished 15th at the 2016 SEC Championships with a time of 16:27.67.
