Gators Open Dual Match Season Hosting ITA Kick-Off Weekend

Florida begins action on Saturday at 9 a.m.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The reigning national champion Florida Gator Women's tennis team will launch its 2018 dual match season on Saturday when it plays host to the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the Ring Tennis Complex.
Admission to all regular-season home matches is FREE!
Parking is also free on weekends and available at the UF Law School parking lot located next to the tennis complex.
The Gators enter the season ranked third in the county, returning three letterwinners from last year's national championship squad with seniors Anna Danilina, Josie Kuhlman and Peggy Porter. The new faces of the 2018 squad include the freshmen trio of McCartney Kessler, Victoria Emma and Katie Kubicz, who will be competing in their first dual matches.

Opening Weekend Schedule Change
- Due to recent weather conditions that have made Florida's back courts unplayable, the men's and women's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kick-Off Weekend will now start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, with matches scheduled for every three hours.

- In the event of rain, matches will be moved inside to the Charles R. and Nancy V. Perry Indoor Facility which is part of the Ring Tennis Complex. Seating is limited and entrance will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Should play move indoors, Florida will not be able to provide live streaming video or scoring.
