The spirited rivalry features the two teams that have combined to win 35 of the 38 SEC titles.

ATHENS, Ga. – Just two weeks into the Southeastern Conference portion of the women's tennis schedule and only four teams remain undefeated. Florida and Georgia are two of those teams and meet at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex Friday in Athens, Ga. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.

The 18th-ranked Gators carry a six-match win streak into Friday's outing against the eighth-ranked Bulldogs, who have won their last three and are 4-0 at home this season.

On the Road Again

Florida went on a nine-match road trip before playing host to LSU and Texas A&M last weekend.
Friday's match at Georgia begins a four-match road swing, as the Gators continue action at Tennessee Sunday.
The following week, Florida plays at Alabama and Auburn on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.
Florida is 5-1 on away courts this season.

Florida and Georgia: The Series

All-Time: Florida leads the all-time series, 49-16, including a 14-5 record in Athens.
Last Meeting: Georgia took the 4-1 decision in Gainesville on March 17, 2017, snapping the Gators' program-record home win streak at 163. It was just the second loss ever at home to an SEC opponent.
Of Note: Of the 38 all-time Southeastern Conference regular-season championships, Florida and Georgia have won 35 of those, sharing the title three times.
