McQueen tied the No. 5-ranked long jump mark in Division I this season, leaping 6.54 meters (21 feet, 5.5 inches), only a centimeter off her personal record and the No. 4-ranked mark on the program's All-Time Top 10. On the men's side of the long jump, reigning outdoor national champion KeAndre Bates was the top collegian, posting a season-best mark of 7.87 meters (25 feet, 10 inches). Bates' jump moved him to 14th in the national rankings.

The Gators also got a national top 25 from freshman sprinter Hakim Sani Brown, who clocked a wind-legal time of 20.64 seconds in his first collegiate 200 meters. Sani Brown, a native of Tokyo, Japan, tied the No. 24-ranked time in Division I this season.

Florida capped the night with a trio of relays, two of which ran one of the five fastest times in school history.
The men's 4x1,500-meter relay quartet of Sam Ahrenholz, Jack Beitter, Magnus Pettersen, and Jack Guyton logged the second-fastest time in program history (15:33.30). HEARING OUT (COACH) HOLLOWAY
Head coach Mike Holloway on Darrielle McQueen's long jump series…
"Thought Darrielle did a wonderful job today. She's really focused and dialed in. She knows she's coming to the end of her career here, and she's determined to finish on a high note. Very proud of her."
Coach Holloway on KeAndre Bates' season-best mark and Grant Holloway's performance…
"Thought KeAndre did a great job. He's starting to show that spark, that energy he brings to the runway. He just had a little timing issue at the end of his jumps. Grant's series won't reflect it, because of the fouls, but he actually did some good things today. Him and Coach (Nic) Petersen have been working on a lot of things in practice, so we were pretty pleased with him."
Coach Holloway on Taylor Manson's personal record in the 400 meters…
"We knew when we got Taylor she was special. The great thing about her is, she came to me after the race and said, 'Coach, I know what I did wrong, and I'll do better next time.' When a freshman can realize her mistakes before I talk to her, that's a big thing. Even beyond the PR today was the fact she now feels what she does wrong. Looking for big things out of her as we move along."
Coach Holloway on Hakim Sani Brown's 200 meters race…
"Hakim is doing a good job. We have a plan. We're going to come along slowly. The goal wasn't to come out and run 19 seconds today. The goal was to come out, get a good mark, and we can get back to Gainesville and get a couple good weeks of training in before we start our next cycle of championships. For him to run 20.64, thought he did a good job. He did exactly what we asked him to do. It was a very controlled effort. We talked a little bit after the race, we both saw and he felt things we know he can do better. We'll get back to Gainesville and get to work on them."
Coach Holloway on other standouts in Friday's events…
"The women, especially, did a great job. Amanda Froeynes did a great job in both the long jump and hurdles. Brandee' Johnson had a solid day. Really thought the guys in the 100 (meters) executed well; we're just a little flat. That's on me. I've got to figure that out. The women's quarter-milers did a phenomenal job. Sharrika with a very controlled 51.5. Really felt like Connor (Bandel) did a good job in the later rounds. It was a weird wind, but he came around pretty good at the end. Proud of Justin Pacifico fighting for the last 200 meters to finish with a PR. With the relays … the 4x1,500 came back and fought and got sixth. The women's sprint medley fought to get third. And the great battle in the men's sprint medley.
"Just want to say thank you to Coach Bucknam and Coach Harter and their staffs for putting this meet on. They're doing a phenomenal job. Really excited about coming out tomorrow and enjoying some more of it."
