NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships Draws Unveiled

Action in the season-ending event begins Wednesday.
WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships get underway on Wednesday and the draws for the season-ending event were released Tuesday afternoon.
Gator seniors Anna Danilina and Josie Kuhlman were selected to compete in the 64-player singles draw, while the UF pair of Danilina and Victoria Emma will battle in the 32-team doubles event that begins Thursday.
Danilina, ranked No. 18 in the country, was one of eight players seeded No. 9-16 and will play California's 50th-ranked Olivia Hauger in the opening round.
The 52nd-ranked Kuhlman drew South Alabama's 110th-ranked Alexandria Stiteler in the first round.
In doubles action, Danilina and Emma, ranked No. 17, will play Oklahoma State's 14th-ranked Vladica Babic and Sofia Blanco. The pairs did not meet during the February 7 dual match in Stillwater, where the Gator duo defeated Babic and Megan McCray.

Scoring for the Individual Championships
- All matches shall be the best-of-three sets.
- No-ad scoring and a seven-point tiebreaker (first to seven points, must win by two points) at six-games-all will be used for all matches.
- In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.

- This is the second time Danilina will be competing in the NCAA Singles Championships.
- Last year she advanced to the quarterfinals where she lost to Gator teammate and eventual finalist Belinda Woolcock.
- Danilina enters the NCA Singles Championships with a 27-10 overall singles record with a 94-27 career mark.

- This is the third time Kuhlman will be competing in the NCAA Singles Championships.
- She advanced to the semifinals her freshman season and the round of 32 last year.
