GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida track and field's final tune-up for championships season will be right here in Gainesville Friday and Saturday, as the Gators host the annual Tom Jones Memorial at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressly Stadium.

Florida's women, ranked No. 5 in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Ratings Index, will trot out a number of highly-ranked individuals in their signature events, including reigning SEC outdoor 400 meters champion Sharrika Barnett. This year's triple jump indoor national champion and current national leader, Yanis David, is also expected to compete.
The men's team is ranked No. 7 nationally, and will once again run its 4x100 relay squad which boasts the nation's third-fastest time. The quartet of Raymond Ekevwo, Hakim Sani Brown, Grant Holloway, and Ryan Clark clocked 38.55 seconds last Saturday, a time that ranks eighth in program history.
Holloway, the two-time defending NCAA champion in the 110-meter hurdles, returns to his signature event for the first time since setting the world lead of 13.28 seconds at last month's Pepsi Florida Relays. Hammer throwers Thomas Mardal and AJ McFarland, both of whom are in the top 15 nationally, will look to improve on their national standing. And reigning SEC outdoor triple jump silver medalist Clayton Brown will open his outdoor season in that event.
Several Gator Greats will compete in signature events as well, including two-time Olympic gold medalist Christian Taylor, Olympic gold medalist Tony McQuay, and outdoor 200 meters collegiate record holder Kyra Jefferson.
Saturday's action will be streamed live on SEC Network +, via Watch ESPN. Results are provided by Half-Mile Timing. Links to follow the Tom Jones Memorial via those mediums are listed below.
