GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 2 Florida men's tennis team (5-1) secured their fourth consecutive appearance in the ITA Kickoff Championships, as the Gators clinched a 4-0 decision over Temple (0-1) on Saturday afternoon at the Alfred A. The Gators will go on to face USF (4-0) in Sunday's championship match, slated for 2 p.m. at Linder Stadium, as USF came away with a 4-2 win over Fresno State on Saturday morning.

Florida made quick work of the Owls in doubles action, grabbing wins on courts one and two to clinch the 1-0 advantage early on.

Will Grant picked up their fourth overall win together in No. 2 doubles with a bagel (6-0) over Temple's Paolo Cucalo and Louis Gorregues, while No. 14-ranked

The Gators shifted the momentum over into singles, as Florida took first sets on all six courts prior to ringing in the first three wins to clinch the match.

Johannes Ingildsen would be the first Gator to finish in singles, as the veteran handled Temple's Araoz in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1, to pick up his first win this season at No. 5 singles and remain undefeated on the year (3-0). Additionally, the win pushes Ingildsen over the 50-win mark in dual singles matches for his career.

Lukas Greif pushed the margin to 3-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Brida in No. 6 singles, marking his third overall victory on the season.

Josh Goodger then went on to clinch the win for the blue and orange with a victory in No. 4 singles, as Goodger would down Temple's Frumholz in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, to add his fourth win of the season and conclude the match at 4-0.
