Briggs, Zein Primed for ITA All-American Championships

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two Gators women's tennis players are headed to Charleston, S.C., as both Carly Briggs and Marlee Zein compete in the qualifying round of the ITA All-American Championships, which runs from October 4-10 at the LTP Tennis Club.
Briggs and Zein are ready for competition as they take on two ranked opponents from the state of North Carolina on Monday to begin the qualifying rounds.
No. 64 Zein will compete against No. 32-ranked and 7-seeded Cameron Morra of North Carolina on October 4 at 9 a.m., while No. 41 Briggs is set to play No. 48 Abigail Rencheli of NC State at 10:30 a.m. on the same day.
There will be a total of eight players from qualifying who will earn a spot into the main draw, which begins on October 6. Live stats will also be available for main draw matches.
