
Summer Recap: Grant Earns Singles Title at PTT Dallas 25K Tournament

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Will Grant competed at the PTT Dallas Men's 25K tournament last week and earned claim to the singles title after going an undefeated 4-0 and only dropping one set in group play.
Grant was placed in Group A with four other players, and during the first round, he defeated Kenner Taylor, 6-4, 7-5.
After the second round, where he beat Wyatt Demulling, 6-2, 7-5, Grant earned a third-round bye.
He picked up his third victory after defeating Evin McDonald in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). In his final match of the group rounds, he achieved a hard-fought win over Ronald Hohmann, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
His undefeated status in Group A allowed him to move to the semifinals of the first-place playoffs. Grant would go on to defeat Nicolas Acevedo in the semis, 7-5, 4-6, 6-0, then overtake Mac Kiger, 6-4, 7-5, to secure the singles title at the tournament.
Overall, Grant went an impressive 6-0 and tallied a 12-2 sets record in the tournament.
