EUGENE, Ore. – For the second-straight night, a Florida sprinter from the 2022 roster has finished 4th in the World in their respective event.

A night after Joseph Fahnbulleh was 4th over 200 meters, Champion Allison recorded a 4th-place finish in the 400 meters at the 2022 World Championships.

He closed well down the backstretch to cross the line in 44.77, narrowly missing the podium by .11 seconds.

Anna Hall won Bronze in the Heptathlon with Fahnbulleh and Allison both finishing in 4th.

Allison will be in the selection pool to run for Team USA in either the Heats (Saturday) or Finals (Sunday) of the 4x400 relay.

He grabbed a gold medal at the World U-20 Championships in 2016 but will be looking for his first medal at the senior level this weekend.

Tomorrow's action will include Jasmine Moore (USA) in the Long Jump, Will Claye (USA) in the finals of the Triple Jump and the potential for Allison and Talitha Diggs to run for the Americans in the heats of the 4x400 relay.
