Seven Gators on the 2022-23 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

Florida's seven on the Southeastern Conference First Year Academic Honor Roll brings the total of Gator soccer player earning 2022-23 SEC Academic Honor Roll berths to 22. 
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Seven soccer players help make up the 80 Gator student-athletes on the First-Year Academic Honor Roll. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announced the complete list today.

Earlier this year, 15 Gator soccer players were named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. Today's announcement brings the number of Gator soccer representatives on 2022-23 to SEC Academic Honor Rolls 22.
 
To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
