Heller Earns Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American Second Team

The midfielder tacks on another accolade right before the start of the 2024 season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Fifth-year senior Emily Heller has been named to the 2024 Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American Second Team, announced Wednesday morning.
The fifth-year senior has had an impressive resume of preseason recognition, also earning USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention, and AAC Preseason Midfielder of the Year. Heller was also a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-Conference team.
The West Babylon, N.Y. native is coming off a 2023 campaign where she had 39 goals, 40 ground balls and 46 draw controls, receiving AAC Midfielder of the Year, IWLCA Second Team All-American, IL Women Third Team All-American and IWLCA All-Region First Team honorees.
Heller and the No. 10 Gators open up the season this Saturday at No. 8 Loyola at 12 p.m. on ESPN+.
