GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Among the nearly 4,000 who earn their University of Florida degrees this weekend is Gator soccer's Lauren McCloskey. She graduates with a degree in biology.
McCloskey played on the backline throughout her Gator career, with 44 starts including 17 in 2025. She contributed six assists over her career, with a team-high four assists in the 2023 season.
She earned Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll honors each season. As a senior, McCloskey appeared on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. She aspires to be a dentist.
