Florida to Host Tom Jones Memorial Invitational

The final home meet of Florida’s 2025 season is free to attend, and will feature multiple Olympic and World Champion athletes.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gators Track and Field is set to continue their outdoor season at the Tom Jones Memorial invitational, the Gators' final home meet, held at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville on April 18 and 19.
The Tom Jones Memorial Invitational is free to attend, and all seats are general admission. Along with Florida's entrants, the meet will feature athletes from 10 of the top-25 men's programs and 10 of the top-25 women's programs in the nation per USTFCCCA's rankings in the collegiate heats. The meet will also feature 10 Olympic Development events, featuring multiple Olympic and World championship athletes and notable Gator alumni.

On both days of the meet, The Gators will celebrate their senior athletes with senior day presentations. The presentations will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
The Gators have also sent a contingent of distance runners to compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. Live results from that Meet can be found here.
Last Time Out
The Gators last competed at the Pepsi Florida Relays, also hosted in Gainesville, on April 4 and 5. The Gators saw multiple personal best and program top-10 marks, highlighted by the outstanding performances by Demaris Waters and Habiba Harris in the 110mH and 100mH respectively. Waters took the wind-legal world lead in the 110mH with his 13.21-second pace, second in program history only to collegiate record-holder Grant Holloway. Harris, a freshman, took the NCAA lead with her wind-aided 12.69 time.
