TULSA, Okla. -- With the end of Qualifiers, three Gators continue in the ITA All-American Championships Main Draw.
Jeremy Jin will make his tournament debut in the Main Draw Wednesday, Sept. 24. Jin enters the competition ranked No. 45 for singles in the ITA preseason rankings. Â
Henry Jefferson has remained undefeated throughout the tournament to earn a spot in the singles Main Draw. Jefferson defeated three opponents in the pre-qualifiers and two in the qualifiers to advance. His two wins in the qualifiers came against opponents who were both listed in the ITA preseason rankings for singles players. Jefferson defeated No. 89 Sasha Rozin of Arizona in two sets (6-2, 6-4) and No. 77 Albert Pedrico Kravtsov of TCU in straight sets (6-3, 6-4).
Jefferson will also compete in the doubles portion of the tournament alongside Tanapatt Nirundorn. The pair was ranked No. 33 as doubles partners in the ITA preseason rankings and earned a spot in the Main Draw after another team withdrew from the competition.
The match times and opponents have not been chosen yet as Qualifiers matches are still continuing throughout the day.
