
Gators Prep for First 2026 Showing in Arkansas

Florida heads to Fayetteville for the Razorback Invitational after strong showings in their opening meet.
GAINESVILLE, Fla.– The Men's and Women's Track and Field teams will head to Fayetteville, Ark. to continue the indoor season and compete at the Razorback Invitational from Jan. 30-31. The two day event will be the Gators fourth consecutive appearance at the annual meet and marks the first of three trips to the Natural State. Florida currently holds 37 top-10 meet specific marks across both men's and women's events.
LAST TIME OUT
The Gators opened the season with successful stints at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, including 11 event victories, 22 total podium finishes, and six personal best performances across the men's and women's events.
The Gator men recorded 12 podium finishes across nine events, highlighted by a personal best triple jump mark by Jaden Lippett (15.91m / 52'2.5") and a first place debut from Luke Stradley in the long jump (7.56m / 24'9.75) and Jarno van Daalen in the shot put (18.50m / 60'8.5").
The women swept the 300m race, with Tyra Cox, Quincy Penn and Sydney Sutton on the podium. Claire Stegall found herself in the NCAA record books as the 18th fastest woman to run the 1000m. The freshman grasped a first place finish by nearly three seconds to make her mark in her indoor debut.
