GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The SEC announced today that Florida sophomore Gabia Paskauskas has been named to the 2026 SEC Women't Tennis Community Service Team.
Not only does Paskauskas lead the Gators with seven singles wins against nationally-ranked opponents this season, but she also leads the team in its efforts in the community. During the 2025-26 academic calendar year, she volunteered primarily with charitable endeavors that involve the children of Gainesville and those that support people with developmental challenges.
In 2014, the Tim Tebow Foundation launched Night To Shine to provide an incredible prom night experience for people with special needs, and Paskauskas took part in the 2026 version as guests enjoyed the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe-shining stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room, a catered dinner, prom favors for each honored guest, a retreat for parents and caretakers, and dancing.
Paskauskas also gave her time to the community as a classroom assistant, as part of the Gators Lunch Buddies program, and by participating in Gators Field Day which benefits Special Olympics Florida.
