Hit .340 and had a 3.30 ERA sophomore season... Hit .350 with 30 RBI and finished 5-3 with two complete games, a 3.30 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 40 innings pitched as a freshman at Tallahassee C.C. ... Team finished 31-17.
PREP: A 2000 graduate of Fayette County High School in Fayetteville, Ga., where he played three years for head coach Robert Townshend... Named team MVP both junior and senior seasons... Named Best Offensive Player and Best Pitcher his senior season... Honorable mention all state, two-time all region and two-time All-Metro player (junior and senior year) at Fayette County High School... Hit .430 with six home runs and finished 8-1 with 1.90 ERA, 120 strikeouts in 90 innings pitched as a senior... Hit .380, went 7-4 with 2.30 ERA with 111 strikeouts in 91 innings pitched as a junior... Finished 9-1 with 1.76 ERA as a sophomore... Selected to Team Georgia...
