2004: Following the season was drafted in the 47th round with the 1409th pick in the MLB Amateur Draft … Started 15 games at first base and made 32 appearances ... 2002-03 AT TEXARKANA COLLEGE: His final season at Texarkana he was named all-region and all-conference after helping lead the Bulldogs to a 40-19 record … Played in all 59 games and batted .391 (79-of-202) with 18 doubles, two triples and 18 homers … Also had 60 RBI and a .767 slugging percentage … In his first season helped lead the team to a 27-17 record including 22-6 league mark … Finished 15th in the conference with a .387 (70-of-181) batting average … Also had 15 runs scored, 17 doubles, two triples and 12 homers … Knocked in 49 runs and walked 14 times with 22 strikeouts.
