2004: Batted .231 with three doubles, one home run and six RBI in 26 appearances and 14 starts … Made all 14 starts as the designated hitter … Also scored six times and drew 12 walks in holding a .412 on-base percentage … In non-league games he batted .292 (7-of-24) with a .500 on-base percentage … Had two multi-RBI games … Batted .310 (9-for-29) in his first 19 games … Recorded first career Florida hit with a pinch-hit single that scored two runs against Gardner-Webb Feb. 7 ... Reached base safely in his first five games and recorded three game hit streak to open season Feb. 7-18 ... Went 1-for-2 with a run and a RBI against Florida A&M Feb. 18 ... Hit a two-run homer against Michigan Feb. 26 ... Scored and drove in a run and went 1-for-2 against Northwestern Feb. 29 ... Went 1-for-3 with a run against Purdue March 6 ... 2002-03 AT NORTH FLORIDA C.C.: Named a junior college All-American in 2003… Fell just short of winning the Florida junior college triple crown in 2003 as he was named the North Florida C.C. MVP … This past year at North Florida he batted .407 (64-of-157) with 18 homers and 61 RBI … He also had 18 doubles, one triple, eight stolen bases and a .878 slugging percentage … Earned all-state first-team junior college honors and also was a Panhandle Conference first-team selection … As a freshman at the school he was a second-team All-Panhandle Conference selection.

PREP: Graduated from Seminole High School where he played for head coach Scott Miller … At Seminole he was part of a Baseball America National Championship and Florida 5A State Championship team in 2001 … That season as a senior he batted .360 (36-of-100) with 12 doubles, one triple, two homers and 26 RBI … As a junior he batted .322 with (28-of-87) with nine doubles, two triples, two homers and 31 RBI … As a sophomore he was the most improved player and was named to the Steve Georgiadis All-Tournament team … That season he batted .384 (33-of-86) with eight doubles, four homers and 22 RBI … In his four-year high school career he had eight homers and 79 RBI as he earned four varsity letters … Was a honor roll student
