AS A JUNIOR (2015): Selected in the ninth round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft by the Atlanta Braves at No. 270…Compiled a team-low 1.33 earned run average and led the Gators in appearances (31) and saves (7)…Was 6-2 and registered 32 strikeouts in 54 innings, while holding opponents to a .218 batting average…Surrendered one run during his final 13 appearances for the Orange and Blue…Posted a 1.64 ERA and was 4-1 in 11 SEC appearances, with 13 strikeouts in 22 innings…Tied for the team lead with seven appearances during the postseason and was 1-1 with a 0.63 ERA…Appeared in two of the three meetings with Virginia at the NCAA College World Series…Set down all four batters he faced during the NCAA Gainesville Super Regional opener against No. 10 Florida State…Preserved the Gators’ 2-1 victory over Florida Atlantic with a scoreless ninth inning to clinch the NCAA Gainesville Regional…Earned SEC All-Tournament honors after tossing eight shutout innings during Florida’s run to the championship and picked up the victory over No. 1 LSU in the semifinals with a 4.1-inning stint in which he permitted just one hit…Had two scoreless efforts during the series at No. 8 Vanderbilt and collected the decisive win in game three with 2.2 innings…Earned the victory in the rubber game at Georgia with four punch-outs over 2.2 shutout frames…Had a career-high five strikeouts during 2.1 innings during the meeting at No. 13 Florida State…Set down all five Stetson batters to record the save in UF’s come-from-behind triumph in DeLand…Notched saves in consecutive wins over Fairfield (1.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R) and Maine (1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R)…Completed the 10-2 conquest of No. 9 UCF with a seven-pitch ninth inning…Recorded the final four outs in the decisive third game against No. 8 Miami at McKethan Stadium to earn a save in the 2-1 victory…Picked up his first win at UF by stranding a Miami runner on third to complete the eighth and then retired the side in order in the ninth before Buddy Reed’s walk-off single lifted the Gators to a 4-3 win in the lid-lifter between the Sunshine State rivals…Closed both the season opener and the finale of the series against Rhode Island.
 
AT CHIPOLA (2013 & 2014): The righty made 16 appearances and 13 starts in 2014 at Chipola College for head coach Jeff Johnson and was named the Panhandle Conference Pitcher of the Year…The first-team Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) all-state and all-conference selection went 6-4 with a 2.98 ERA and totaled 95 strikeouts in 81.2 innings…Lewis was taken in the 40th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies with the 1,193rd overall pick…Collected the decisive win as the Indians claimed the outright Panhandle Conference title with a 13-5 triumph over Northwest Florida State…Earned second-team All-Panhandle Conference honors in 2013…Over 20 appearances, 17 out of the bullpen, the right-hander was 2-1 with a 3.54 ERA and registered three saves…Notched 55 strikeouts in 53.1 innings…Tossed eight innings and had seven strikeouts to collect a decision over Pensacola State…Went the distance with five hits, four strikeouts and two runs to eliminate Tallahassee Community College from the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Gulf District Baseball Tournament…Earned a berth on the all-tourney team for his efforts.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Pinewood Christian Academy for head coach Zach Rackett and was also a member of the basketball and football teams…Participated in the 2012 Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) All-Star Game for Class AAA…Earned GISA All-Region 4 in Class AAA in his final two seasons with the Patriots… Named All-Region 4 in Class AAA in basketball as well.
