Future Goal
My future goals after graduation know no bounds. I wish I could list all of my dreams and goals for my career, but the list would be far too long. Initially, I hope to use my degree for pharmaceutical/medical event management. My long term goal would be to eventually combine my passion and love for dance with my event management experience and open my own dance studio!
Why UF?
My desire to attend the University of Florida, started at a very young age. Having been born in Gainesville, I was raised to love all things Orange, Blue, and Gators related. For as long as I can remember, I have watched every UF game on TV, worn orange and blue on a regular basis, and screamed “We are the boys” at the top of my lungs. As I grew older, the University of Florida drew me in even stronger because of the academic and athletic programs available to its students. It’s not every day you can say you went to a “TOP 5” university, not only for its academics, but also for its athletics, school spirit and the atmosphere that is Gainesville! The moment I got accepted everything in my life came full circle!
Favorite Dazzlers Memory
My favorite Dazzler memory so far was the moment I was told I made the team. I had trained with a professional dance coach for 6 months leading up to auditions. Every day of auditions, only a select group is announced to advance to the next day. It’s three days of hard work & anxiety! The moment I found out that I had made my dream team was like nothing I have ever experienced. I’ve wanted this since I was 5 and I’m no longer the little girl in the photo posing with a Dazzler. I am the Dazzler posing in the photo with the little girls. I have truly been blessed to be on this team and I am so excited to be part of the UF Spirit Program!
