Why UF?
I chose to attend UF because of how well-rounded the school is as a whole. The academic prestige and rigor initially drew me in, and the more I learned about the school, the more I fell in love. Being part of a top-five school, I knew I would be challenged and intellectually stimulated not only in an academic setting but in all aspects of life and diversity. The UF spirit is like no other, and being a part of Dazzlers has only enhanced the passion and pride I have for this school. Having the opportunity to be a part of Dazzlers has been the best experience I've had here at UF because it's allowed me to continue pursuing my passion for dance, as well as fully embrace the Florida Gator spirit and grow as an individual and team player.What movie character do you relate to and why?
I would say a movie character I relate to is Meg March from Little Women. She is the oldest of five sisters and is often nurturing and steadily guiding her sisters by serving and uplifting them, while working to balance her sisters' different personalities and create harmony in their household. As the oldest of seven siblings, I strive to embody Meg's commitment to her family and value serving my teammates with loyalty, grace, and integrity. Meg inspires me to work hard to achieve my goals while also cherishing the relationships I have with the people I love. She reminds me that leadership comes not from seeking the spotlight, but from standing by and supporting the people you care about in every circumstance.What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
Looking back to my first year, my goal for my time on the team has remained the same. My main priority has been to create an environment of love and friendship, and do my best everyday to have a spirit of altruism. Every time I show up for the team I strive to serve my teammates to the best of my ability. I have fostered a relationship with every girl on the team and grown so close to each of them that they are my reason to show up and give my all regardless of how I'm feeling because it is less about me and more about we.
