Why UF?
As a high school student, I held close to my heart the dream of continuing to pursue my passion for dance on a team in college. Not only that, but I also wanted to push myself academically. When I came to visit UF for the first time, it stuck out to me so clearly UF was the place. The University of Florida is truly an "everything" school, and going to the Dazzler clinic for the first time solidified it for me. The team's culture was one so special and full of empowerment and love, one that drew me in and I dreamed to become a part of. I wanted so badly after that visit to become a Florida Gator. The environment is so special and the drive and passion everyone shares at the University of Florida is so inspiring. I am grateful everyday that I get to be a Florida Gator and part of the Dazzlers living my dream! There truly is no place like UF.What movie character do you relate to and why?
A movie character I relate to is Olaf from Frozen. He is very friendly and enjoys a good laugh, but also being there for others when needed. I resonate deeply with how he likes to bring joy to others and not take things too seriously always, as well as being outgoing and optimistic.What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
The legacy I hope to leave for future dazzlers is one that involves creating a sense of empoowerment and lifting up my teammates in every way possible. I hope to be a teammate who can bring a smile or laugh to those around me bringing joy to others. I strive to be a teammate who is dependable and can be leaned on, as well as one who speaks life and love into my teammates and those around me. I hope to contribute to an environment of great love, passion, and support on the Dazzlers. There is something so special about a team that feeds off energy and love from one other, and something so rewarding and special about seeing the growth in each other and what speaking encouragement into each other can achieve. Something I hold close to my heart is the power of ones mindset, and perspective. I hope to leave a legacy of positivity, gratitude, great drive, and passion.
