Why UF?
After coming to the University of Florida to audition for the BFA dance program, I really admired the school’s commitment towards academics and the arts. I always wanted to go to a large university with great scholastics and sports, and after visiting the school, I knew it was right for me. Being a Dazzler, I truly feel the mix of academics and arts as well as the opportunity to express immense Gator pride at sporting and community events.What movie character do you relate to and why?
A movie character that comes to mind is Princess Peach from The Super Mario Bros. Movie! I not only grew up loving her, playing the Wii with my brothers, but also try to channel the qualities that make her so bold and courageous. She wears a pink dress, heels, and a crown, but that doesn't stop her from being adventurous, chasing her goals, taking risks, and never trying to shrink into anyone elses mold!What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
Creating an environment of joy, positivity and hard work is so important to me and something that I strive to bring to the table each and every day. It is crucial to pour energy into my teammates to create this uplifiting environment as I know I can count on them to reciprocate this attitude. I feel so blessed to be able to be on a team with girls that share the same goals and priorities as each other, as we all want what is best for the betterment and future of this team.
