Why UF?
I chose UF because of it's incredible academics for the two completely different majors I wanted to follow. Coming to this school has allowed me to explore my academic options and continue doing what I love. I also chose this school because of how supportive and spirited all who are attending and have attended are. This school has a reputation for its amazing athletics and academics which makes me proud I get to be apart of something so big.What movie character do you relate to and why?
A movie character I resonate with is Fanny Brice from Funny Girl! She is based off of a real life comedian, actress, and singer who is determined, resilient, and of course funny! She embodies the balance between confidence and vulnerability. Like Fanny, I know what it feels like to stand out for being different, and I admire the way she transforms what others see as flaws into her greatest strengths. Her humor, determination, and refusal to fit into narrow expectations inspire me to embrace my individuality and appreciate the individuality of others.What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
I would like to inspire future Dazzlers to not be afraid of leaving their comfort zone. Coming into the team, I had little to no experience with pom and in a dance team environment. This taught me adaptation and helped me learn new skills for my future career. Dazzlers provides you with a family, which is rare in a competitive dance world.
