AS A JUNIOR IN 2005-2006ย Finished the season ranked No. 39 (with Vladimir Obradovic) in the final ITA doubles pollโฆReturned to the courts from back surgery to go 7-8 overall in singles (5-6 in dual matches) and 13-9 (11-7 in duals) on the doubles courtsโฆAppeared on courts one through five in the singles lineup and all three courts in doublesโฆTeamed with Obradovic to defeat both to-10 doubles opponents they faced, including Pepperdine's Andre Begemann and Scott Doerner in the NCAA team draw Round of 16 (8-3) as the Pepperdine pair went on to finish as national runners-up in the NCAA doubles drawโฆAlso, teamed with Obradovic to take out Georgia's All-America tandem of Strahinja Bobusic and Colin Purcell (8-4) during the regular season match in AthensโฆWas one of three Gators to defeat five-or-more ranked opponents in singles playโฆNamed to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
FALL OF 2005ย One of five Gators to be ranked in the preseason ITA singles poll as he was ranked No. 56 and was ranked No. 18 with teammate Greg Ouellette in the doubles version of the pollโฆMade two appearances on the singles courts in the fall and scored a 7-6 (5), 6-0 win against South Florida's Juan BarraganโฆDropped a 7-5, 7-6 (5) decision to Auburn's Terrence Nugent in the Round of 64 at the ITA Southeast Indoor RegionalsโฆWent 1-1 in doubles play as well with a 9-7 win in the Round of 32 at the same event with Greg Ouellette over Troy's Marko Despot and Irving Morales.

Fall of 2004ย Ranked No. 32 in the ITA Preseason Singles poll and was No. 49 in the ITA preseason doubles poll with newcomer Greg OuelletteโฆWent 3-2 in singles play and 6-1 in doubles with partner Greg OuelletteโฆThe two won four matches on their way to the championship round of the ITA Southeast Regional where they came up short against LSU's Mark Growcott and Ken Skupski, 8-5.
AS A SOPHMORE IN 2003-2004ย A Second-Team All-SEC selectionโฆFinished the season ranked 68th in the final edition of the ITA singles pollโฆFinished 16-10 in singles play and went 10-7 in the No. 2 positionโฆOwned a 6-4 record in dual matches against SEC opponentsโฆDefeated five ranked foes in singles play, which was the third highest total on the teamโฆMade his way to the top of the singles lineup for the first time in his collegiate career against Furman and came away with a 6-4, 6-3 win over John ChesworthโฆSplit time with Vladimir Obradovic and Martin Stiegwardt as doubles partners and went 5-4 and 8-5 with the two in dual match play, respectivelyโฆSEC Academic honor roll member.
FALL OF 2003ย Ranked fifth in the ITA Preseason singles poll and No.26 with Hamid Mirzadeh in the doubles edition ... Advanced to the semifinals of the National Indoor Collegiate Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich., before dropping a match to 20th-ranked Jeremy Wurtzman of Ohio State (6-2,6-2)... Went 2-2 against ranked opponents in the fall with wins over No.78 Michael Rubin (Michigan) and No.14 Robert Searle (Rice)... Holmia squared off against opening round at the indoor championships and won the match 6-0,6-2 ... After dropping the first set to Searle, 2-6, Holmia bounced back to take the quarterfinal match at the indoor championships with a 6-3 second set and 6-1 third.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2002-2003ย Became one of Florida 's 15 different All-American 's with an impressive first season in Gainesville ... Named the ITA National Rookie of the Year ... Spent the majority of the year as the nation 's top-ranked freshman in singles and finished the season ranked No.6 in the nation ... Was honored as the program 's first recipient of the SEC 's Freshman of the Year Award since it was first presented during the 2000 season and was a First Team All-SEC selection ... In his initial year, Holmia posted a 19-5 dual match record and went 9-1 against SEC opponents ... It was his win over 75th-ranked Jose Zahri of Texas (6-1,6-7 (4),6-4)in the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Tournament Round of 16 to provide the Gators a 4-3 margin on which they advanced to the quarterfinal roundโฆPosted 34 singles victories, tied for the fifth-best single season win total in school history, and highest ever for a freshman ... Also faired well in doubles play posting at least a .500 record with three different partners ... Advanced to the second round of the 2003 NCAA Tennis Singles Championships, before a back injury forced him to retire.

Played for the Tennis Club of Tampere, which won the Finnish National Indoor Championship on four occasions and won the outdoor title three times ...
