Overview
  • Played her final two seasons with the Gators after spending two seasons of eligibility at Utah State.
  • Finished her collegiate career with 2,047 points (1,149 with Utah State and 898 with Florida).
  • As a Gator, she played in 57 games and finished with a 15.8 points per game average, the sixth-highest in program history.
  • Finished her career with the highest three-point percentage in program history at 39.6 percent (160-of-404)
  • In just two seasons, Nakkasoglu drained 160 three-pointers, the seventh-most in program history.
  • Fifth-highest career free throw percentage at 80 percent (128-of-160).
  • Led the Gators in scoring in each of her two seasons on campus and went down as one of the most prolific shooters in program history.
2018-19, Senior Season
  • Finished the season averaging 16.8 points per game on .460 shooting from the floor.
  • Poured in 84 3-pointers, the second most in program history, while shooting a program-best 42 percent from deep.

  • Became the youngest player in USU history to reach the 1,000-point mark, hitting the milestone at New Mexico (Feb. 10)

  • Received diploma from St. Leonard’s in Melbourne, Brighton East, Australia in December 2013.
  • Played for the Melbourne Boomers of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL).
  • Was selected to the Victoria U20 state team, winning the U20 national championships in 2013. and 2014, while her U18 National Championship took third in 2012.
  • Named Grand Final MVP in 2011 as her squad won the U18 McDonald National Junior Classic Championship.
  • Also ran track in high school, where she specialized in sprinting (200m, 400m).
  • Significant Basketball coaches have included Tom Maher, Michelle Timms and Gary Fox (Club: Bulleen Boomers, league: Australian WNBL).
 Personal
  • Native of Hampton, Australia.
  • Father played professional basketball in Turkey and her mother played volleyball.
  • Played for three-time Olympian Michelle Timms with the Bulleen Boomers. Timms twice led Australia’s Olympic team to medals, played in the WNBA and is a member of the FIBA Hall of Fame. 
  • During 2018 summer, participated in a multiphase selection camp for the Turkish Senior National Team; the team represented the country at the World Championships in September of 2018; traveled and practiced in China, Czech Republic and Canada among other countries.
  • Spent the 2016 summer as a member of the Turkish Senior National Team and was among the players at the tryouts for the 2016 Olympic Team.
