Competed in both the 50 and 100-meter freestyle events at the 2009 U.S. Nationals meet in Indianapolis, Ind., securing career-best marks in each… Finished 62nd at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100-meter free with a career-best time (56.94) and also swam a lifetime best in the 200 free (2:03.34, 71st) … Placed 53rd in the 100 free (51.14), 69th in the 200 fly (2:04.75) and 79th in the 200 free (1:52.00) at the 2008 ConocoPhillips Short Course Nationals … Placed 89th in the 200-meter free (2:05.99) at the 2007 ConocoPhillips U.S. Nationals … At the 2006 ConocoPhillips U.S. Nationals, placed 78th in the 100-meter butterfly (1:03.81), 54th in the 200-meter free (2:04.06), 51st in the 50-meter free (26.83) and 27th in the 100-meter free (57.07) … Member of the 2005 U.S. National Junior Team … Five-time senior National Qualifier in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events, as well as the 100 fly and 200 back.

2008-09: A 2009 NCAA qualifier… Picked up three honorable mention All-America honors at the 2009 NCAA meet in the 400 medley relay and 400 & 800-yard free relays… Swam the 50 free (22.83) at the 2009 NCAA Championships, placing 52nd overall and also finished 10th as a member of the 800-yard free relay (7:06.78), 11th as the leadoff leg of the 400-yard free relay (3:15.81) and 14th (3:33.75) as the freestyle leg of the 400-yard medley relay… Was additionally a member of the 200-yard free relay in prelims that finished ninth (1:28.80)… Placed ninth in the 100 free (49.11), 13th in the 200-yard free (1:47.53), 18th (4:51.54) in the 500 free at the 2009 SEC Championships… Additionally swam a career-best 48.85 100 free leadoff leg as a member of the third-place 400-yard free relay at SECs, the sixth-fastest time in UF history in the race… Swam four career-best marks at the 2009 SEC Championships, including the 50, 100, 200 & 500 freestyle races...Won the 100 free (50.67) against South Carolina, her highest dual-meet season finish in an event.
2007-08: An SEC Academic Honor Roll selection … Finished in 1:47.99 in the 200 free at the NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio … A member of the SEC 800 FR team (7:06.22) that placed seventh with UF’s third-fastest time ever, while swimming the 100 free (49.75) and anchor on the 800 FR team (7:05.81) that swam the second-fastest UF time ever at SECs … Also swam the 50 free (23.31), finished fifth in consolations of the 200 free (1:48.22) and 11thin the 200 fly (2:00.49) … 2007-08 season was highlighted with a first-place finish in the 200 fly (2:03.51) against FAU, second place in the 100 free (51.05) against Tennessee, first place in the 200 free (1:50.22) double dual against Arkansas and IRCC … Also took top honors in the 500 free (4:58.05) against Kentucky, finished second in the 50 free (27.19) against Michigan … Tallied first-place finishes in the 100 fly (55.79) against both Minnesota and Virginia (55.33).
2006-07: Posted season-bests in the 50 free (23.18) and 100 free (50.03) at the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis … Helped the 400 FR quartet place seventh (3:17.80) and the 200 FR squad finish 13th (1:30.54) at the NCAA meet … Placed 12th in the 200 free (1:48.94), 100 free (50.38) and 15th in the 50 free (23.34) at the SEC Championships in Lexington, Ky. on her way to six All-SEC honors … Her freshman campaign was highlighted by a third-place finish in the100 free (51.39) against Tennessee, a victory in the 400 FR (3:26.53) in the tri-meet sweep of Alabama and South Carolina, a second-place 200 fly finish (2:05.69) against Indian River CC and second-place performances in both the 50 (23.50) and 100 free (50.84) against Virginia, her 100 mark an NCAA provisional cut … Competed in the U.S. Open in West Lafayette, Ind. … Placed second in both the 500 free (4:58.11) and 200 fly (2:03.86) versus LSU … Won the 50 free (23.48) against Minnesota, while anchoring the first-place 400 MR (3:42.61) in the Georgia win… Finished third in the 200 free (1:50.49) against Michigan in her collegiate debut.

(29), Erin (26), Joey (23) and John (18) … Is the fifth child in her family to participate in NCAA Division I athletics – Julie swam for Miami (Fla.), C.J. played lacrosse at Fairfield, Erin swam for Towson, Joey was three time Lacrosse All-American, 2008 Lacrosse NCAA Player of the year at Notre Dame, Joey also currently plays professional lacrosse for the Washington Bayhawks, John currently plays lacrosse at Notre Dame … Chose Florida because of its academics, location, coaching staff and team camaraderie … Also considered Auburn, Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin in the decision process … Majoring in special education.
