• clinched the 2017 NCAA SF win vs. Vanderbilt - the first time she has been involved in a clincher in NCAAs

SOPHOMORE
SPRING 2016

• Won the 2016 NCAA Doubles Title with Kourtney Keegan, defeating Cal’s Maegan Manasse and Denise Starr, 6-2, 6-0 in the final in Tulsa, Okla.
• The NCAA Doubles title was the first individual title a Florida Gator has garnered since 2001
• Named the SEC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, making Austin just one of three players in league history to win the honor in back-to-back seasons
• Clinched three Gator victories in 2016, including Florida’s Top-5 matchup with No. 4 USC on Feb. 4 for Austin’s first match-clinching victory in the Orange and Blue
• Clinched seven doubles points for Gators with Keegan, including three of the last four matches during the season
• Led the Gator in dual match doubles victories with Keegan, compiling a total of 27 dual match wins
• Played at No. 1 singles all season and recorded a 14-3 record at that line
• Earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Singles Championships

• Advanced to the quarterfinals of the USTA National Championships Girls’ 18 in San Diego in both singles and doubles (with partner and fellow Gator freshman Peggy Porter); Austin won the consolation final in singles

• Ranked No. 3 nationally in 2013 and the No. 2-ranked recruit in the class
