What Coach Shelton Says
“Both of our doubles teams played well again today and are working so well together. Diego played well today in singles but didn't get the win. I'm just happy to see the improvement in his game and his willingness to put it all on the line, win or lose. It was nice to see Chase bounce back strong today. Elliott played his game today and was really effective in all areas. He plays so heavy and is moving so well. Alfredo just didn't have anything left in the tank today, but proud of the character he displayed throughout the tournament. He represented the Gators the right way.
Coach Merklein's work with our guys has been very evident this week. I can't say enough about how much Coach Perelman is doing for his program as well. We are all having a blast working with these guys.”
