GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 15 University of Florida women's tennis team opens Southeastern Conference play against the No. 35 Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Ring Tennis Complex. The Orange and Blue will look to repeat as SEC Champions and win the program's 29th SEC Title.
UF is coming off a tough weekend on the west coast. The Gators dropped a pair of 4-3 contests to No. 1 California and No. 16 Stanford. Opening conference play in the friendly confines of the Ring Tennis Complex, the Gators will have four-straight home dual matches in Gainesville.
The SEC is looking stronger than ever with eight teams in the ITA Top-25. Florida will host No. 57 Mizzou on Saturday at 11 a.m., before two of the top tier teams in the SEC, Vanderbilt (7) and Kentucky (17), arrive in Gainesville next week.
Last Time with the Razorbacks
UF took care of business On March 13, 2015 in Fayetteville the last time the two teams faced off. Florida took the doubles point with Liang/Woolcock and Kuhlman/Porter getting the match wins. The Gators would go on to sweep singles play and the match to remain perfect in the SEC season.

Florida leads the all-time series 26-1.
