SUNDAY, JULY 3
NO PRELIMINARIES

OMAHA, Neb. -- Day 3 of U.S. Olympic Team Trials proved to be a quieter day of preliminaries for both the trials as a whole and for Florida, with two Gators appearing in two out of three events.

Hannah Burns, swimming her second event of the week, competed in the women's 200m IM. She placed second in Heat 5 and 50th overall, swimming a time of 2:18.46.

Three incoming Gators also saw action in the event. Savanna Faulconer (tied for 51st place) and Makayla Sargent (53rd place) followed close behind her in overall finishes. Faulconer also finished second in her heat, Heat 8, at 2:18.51, while Sargent placed sixth in her assigned Heat 6 at 2:18.55. The third soon-to-be Gator, Kelly Fertel, placed 69th overall and fifth in her heat at 2:19.74.

Elizabeth Beisel was scheduled to swim the event as well, but she no-showed on the blocks and was disqualified. However, she did swim the other women's event of the morning -- the 200m freestyle, placing 58th overall at 2:02.80.

Each day will begin with preliminary heats at 11 a.m. EST and conclude with event finals and semifinals at 7:45 p.m. EST. Estimated start times for each preliminary event can be found here, and the event schedule for the entire meet can be found on the USA Swimming website.

Prelims will be broadcast live daily on the NBC Sports app and online and on edited tape-delay on the NBC Sports Network. Event semifinals and finals will air live on NBC and online. The full TV schedule is available here.
