The Gator senior dropped a tough three-setter.

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Senior Josie Kuhlman dropped a tough three-setter at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships round of 16 played at the Riviera Tennis Club on Friday.

The No. 12-ranked Kuhlman fell to Southern California's No. 14 Gabby Smith, 6-3, 5-7, 6-0, and ends her bid for the prestigious event title.

Kuhlman was the lone Gator remaining in the main draw.

Brooke Austin and Anna Danilina were schedule to compete in the consolation draw Friday, after losing their respective first round matches on Thursday.

Danillina upset UNC's top-seeded and fourth-ranked Sara Daavettila, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, but fell to Kansas' Anastasia Rychagova, 6-7(6), 7-5, 6-3. in the quarterfinals.

Austin dropped her round of 16 match against Oklahoma's No. 19-ranked Lily Miyazaki, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.
