Numerous Gators ranked in the national top 15 will compete in their main events Saturday
FORT WORTH, Texas – Following a week off from competition, Florida looks to build on its quick start to the outdoor season at Saturday's (April 15) Horned Frogs Invitational.
The Gators, ranked No. 1 and No. 7, respectively, in the men's and women's national team rankings, enter the weekend with 17 top-10 times and marks on the NCAA Descending Order List. Check out the best photos and highlights from the Gators' opening month:
One of those is the NCAA-leading men's 4x100 relay team of Michael Timpson Jr., Grant Holloway, Eric Futch, and Ryan Clark. The quartet is set to make a run at their own national lead of 38.73 Saturday afternoon.
Other Gators chasing improvement on national top-15 marks at TCU include Sharrika Barnett and Taylor Sharpe (400 meters), KeAndre Bates (long jump), Lloydricia Cameron (discus / shot put), Yanis David and Asa Garcia (triple jump), Darrielle McQueen (long jump), Shayla Sanders (200 meters), and Marija Vucenovic (javelin).
