
Gators Head to Kentucky for SEC Test

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Coming off two midweek wins at home over Illinois and Vanderbilt, Florida will continue its SEC slate on the road against Kentucky.
The No. 4 Gators will visit Lexington for a contest with the No. 40 Wildcats on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at the Boone Tennis Center.
Florida is riding an eight-match winning streak and remains unbeaten in conference play, 6-0.
The Gators posted 6-1 and 7-0 wins over Illinois and Vanderbilt and have been strong throughout the singles lineup most of the season. In 16 matches, Florida is 62-21 and sits at 18-15 over nationally ranked players. The singles lineup is anchored by four ranked players, including No. 15 Oliver Crawford, No. 29 Andy Andrade, No. 51 Sam Riffice and No. 97 Johannes Ingildsen. Riffice, a freshman, is a perfect 6-0 in SEC matches and has only dropped one set against a conference opponent.
In the 2019 SEC Preseason Coaches' Poll, Florida was selected to win the conference. Kentucky was chosen to finish tenth.
