UF Heads to Georgia Southern for Sunday Matchup

STATESBORO, Ga. - The No. 21 Gators will travel to Georgia Southern for a Sunday matchup against the Eagles. The contest will mark Florida's second road trip of the spring after UF fell at No. 7 Michigan on Feb. 4.
Doubles are set to go out at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday and singles will immediately follow. All matches will be played at Wallis Tennis Center.
Georgia Southern (18-5, 5-4 SEC)
GATORS LAST TIME OUT
Florida took its second loss of the season, falling 7-0 to No. 7 Michigan last weekend. Despite the final score, Florida fought hard against the top-10 Wolverines. The Gators rallied in in the doubles category with two courts being forced into extra games before Michigan took all six first sets over UF in singles.
ABOUT GEORGIA SOUTHERN
The Eagles will enter Sunday's match after defeating Kennesaw State on Feb. 2. Georgia Southern tallied a 5-2 win in Kennesaw with all five points coming from singles play. Mackenzie Leopold, Evelyn Warkentin, Amelie Rosadoro, Juliette Nask, and Lisen Rinman were those responsible for Georgia Southern singles victories on Sunday.
