AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Saw action in 32 games and drew 11 starts as the Gators’ designated hitter… Batted .395 (15-for-38) with seven RBI, four walks, four sacrifice hits, three doubles and three runs… Was 8-for-16 (.500) in 11 SEC outings, including six starts… Turned in a .600 (6-for-10) performance as a pinch hitter… Walked and scored in the third inning and singled up the middle in the fourth inning in the finale at Georgia… Had a delivered a sacrifice fly that began the scoring in the series opener… Poked an RBI double down the right-field line in the fifth inning and was 2-for-3 in the second matchup with Auburn… Stroked a pinch-hit single in the teams’ first meeting… Was 2-for-3 in the rout of Florida A&M… Had a pinch-hit single into left field and scored in the Gators’ four-run ninth inning at No. 3 LSU… Legged out an infield single while pinch-hitting in the finale at Missouri… Drew a bases-loaded walk in the third game at No. 2 Vanderbilt… Had broken up the Commodores’ bid for a shutout in game two with a one-out double in the ninth inning that brought across Vickash Ramjit… Was 2-for-3 in the home triumph over Jacksonville… Poked a two-run single against North Florida in his first career start, finishing 2-for-4 against the Ospreys… Roberson’s first career hit was a pinch-hit single in the ninth inning against FGCU that scored Kevin Stypulkowski.
