Why UF?
As an out of state student, UF was definitely a reach school for me, but as soon as I got in, I immediately booked a flight to come to Gainesville for a Dazzlers clinic and campus tour. I fell in love with everything about UF that weekend, and I realized that Dazzlers was the team for me. Being at UF has allowed me to live out my dream as a collegiate dancer while also studying at a very academically competitive school, and I am very proud to be a Florida Gator! What movie character do you relate to and why?
I relate to Cinderella because of her consistent optimism even in the face of adversity. She chooses to find the positivity and bright side in situations and it allows her to remain kind-hearted and selfless. She knows her internal self, and doesn't let negative comments affect her. I strive to be more like her constantly. What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
The legacy I hope to leave for the Dazzlers is one filled with inspiration and passion. Every day, my teammates continue to show up as their best selves and inspire me to grow not only as a dancer, but as an individual as well. Each practice brings a new level of drive and discipline that pushes us to be better as a team. The passion that the Dazzlers have not only for dance, but for each other is irreplaceable. The sense of community and belonging on this team is so special, and I aspire to contribute to that feeling for future Dazzlers.Saturday, October 24
