At Florida
2015-2016:
NCAA Championships: Swam three Top-30 finishes inside the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, registering a 22nd-place finish in the 500 Free (4:18.16) and two 28th-place showings in both the 200 Free (1:35.36) and 200 Fly (1:44.21)… SEC Championships: Appeared in the ‘A’ final of the 200 Fly and finished sixth overall with a time of 1:42.96… finished 10th in the 500 Free (4:19.10) and 13th in the 200 Back (1:43.88)… registered 58 total points for the first-place finishing Florida Men… ranks ninth all-time in the 200 Fly with his sixth-place finishing 1:42.96 at the SEC Championships… Honors: named to 2015 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll…
2014-15:
SEC Championships: Placed fifth and sixth in the 200-yard butterfly (1:43.94) and backstroke (1:44.68) B-Final events… Finished runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle C-Final with a career-best time of 4:17.94… Placed second in both the 200-yard butterfly (1:49.87) and 200-yard backstroke (1:50.43) in a dual meet against Florida State… Placed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle at the Georgia Tech Invitational with an NCAA ‘B’ standard time of 4:24.29… Competed in multiple individual events at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational and notched his top finish in the A-Final of the 500-yard freestyle, as he placed third in 4:34.01… Honors: 2015 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2013-14:
SEC Championships: Placed 11th in the 200-yard butterfly (1:44.71), 16th in the 200-yard backstroke (1:45.21) and 19th overall in the 500-yard freestyle (4:20.21)… Finished as the runner-up in the 200-yard butterfly at the Bulldog Last Chance Meet with a time of 1:45.49… Competed in various events in every dual meet for the Gators… Honors: 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2012-13:
Set several personal-best times at the Bulldog Last Chance Invitational, including marks of 4:20.51 in the 500-yard freestyle, 48.53 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke, 1:45.68 in the 200-yard butterfly and 1:45.92 in the 200-yard backstroke… Placed 12th in the 200-yard butterfly (1:48.16), 16th in the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.91), 17th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:26.95) and 18th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.50) at the Ohio State Invitational… Competed in various events in every dual meet for the Gators… Honors: 2013 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2011-12:
Sat out season as a redshirt.
Prior To Florida: 2010 and 2011 Scholastic All-American… Selected to the Miami Herald All-Dade County Swim Team… Won two high school state championships (2010 & 2011)… Five-time state championship finalist (as well as three relays)… Palmetto record holder in the 100-yard backstroke… Trained at AK Sharks in Miami under head coach and father Lou Manganiello… Father, Lou, swam at South Florida… Brother, Blake, is a redshirt freshman on the men’s team.
