Participated in one event at the 2014 Phillips 66 National Championships in Irvine, Calif.… Competed at the 2011 USA Swimming Junior Nationals… Participated in two Brazilian Junior Nationals, as well as the Setti Colli Rome Meet in Italy.

At Florida

2015-2016:

SEC Championships: Earned his way into the ‘C’ final of the 200 Fly with a season-best 1:47.62 prelims times… bettered that mark in the finals with a 1:46.76 to finish 24th overall and put his name in the scoring column as the Gators won their fourth consecutive Southeastern Conference Championship… added two season-best times after finishing 33rd in the 200 Breast (2:01.54) and 36th in the 100 Fly (48.54)… participated in all nine regular-season duals… opened the season on a high note, clocking a season-best 1:55.12 in the 200 IM… posted two season bests at the Buckeye Invitational, touching out at 21.36 in the 50 free and 57.30 in the 100 Breast… 

2014-15:

Ended his season by clocking season-best times in two events (50 Free, 100 Fly) at Florida’s Last Chance Meet… Finished fourth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:50.02 in the Gators dual meet at Auburn… Finished runner-up in both the 100-yard (50.14) and 200-yard (1:49.79) butterfly races in a dual meet against Minnesota… Clocked times of 50.59 seconds and 1:54.93 in the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly races in a dual meet against LSU… Competed in multiple events at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational and recorded his top finishes in the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly races, as he won the B-Final in each with times of 50.66 and 1:52.77, respectively... Honors: 2015 SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2013-14:

Recorded a personal-best time of 48.15 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly at the Bulldog Last Chance Meet… Recorded times of 49.16 seconds and 1:48.05 in the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly races in UF’s victory over Auburn, respectively… Competed in various races in dual meets and invitational competition… Honors: 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2012-13:

SEC Championships: Had a ninth-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (1:46.09), 22^nd in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:00.87) and was 26^th in the 100-yard butterfly (48.44)… Captured second place in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:49.96 in a dual meet against Florida Atlantic… Placed seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:07.92 at the All-Florida Invitational in his first meet as a Gator.

Prior to Florida:

Four-time Florida High School Activities Association Class 1A state meet qualifier… Four-time All-County selection by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald… Top-ranked Florida Gold Coast age group swimmer in multiple events… Selected as a member of the Florida Gold Coast All-Star Team… Won multiple high school district and regional titles… American Heritage High School record holder in multiple events… Trained with the late six-time Olympic coach Michael Lohberg… Was a member of the Coral Springs Swim Club… Chose Florida over USC, William & Mary and Seton Hall… Parents are Eduardo and Bianca… Has two siblings, Dominique and Liam.
