Gators Head to N.C. State for ITA Kickoff Weekend
Saturday, January 24, 2026 | Women's Tennis
RALEIGH, N.C. — The Florida Women's Tennis Team made its way to NC State Friday morning to take part in the ITA Kickoff Weekend, which serves as the qualifying path to the ITA Division I National Team Indoor Championships.
The event was originally scheduled to feature 56 of the nation's best programs competing at 14 host sites across the country, and the No. 23 Gators were set to take on Ole Miss, Sunday, Jan. 25 at 4 p.m. EST at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. The host Wolfpack were slated to play against Boise State at 12 p.m. that same day, however, due to the potentially historic winter storm that is expected to blanket most of the country over the weekend, both matches have been postponed for the time being. Similar postponements have disrupted events at other host sites.
The Gators could potentially play their match against Ole Miss as early as Monday, Jan. 26. Once new dates and times are announced, this story and the Women's Tennis schedule page will be updated accordingly.
