Gators Welcome Numerous Olympians, Nationally-Ranked Teams for Pepsi Florida Relays

Some of the top track and field athletes in the world will compete in Gainesville this weekend
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida track and field will host numerous Olympians, including a handful of Olympic gold medalists, World Championships qualifiers, and thousands of collegiate and high school competitors at this weekend's (March 30-April 1) Pepsi Florida Relays.

The Gators, ranked No. 1 on the men's side and No. 6 on the women's side of the USTFCCCA Preseason National Team Rankings, will welcome several nationally-ranked teams to Gainesville.
The list is comprised of (men/women): No. 2/1 Oregon, No. 22/2 Kentucky, No. 8/15 Alabama, No. 13/23 Ole Miss, No. 14/11 Tennessee, No. 21/20 Virginia Tech, No. 25/22 South Carolina, No. --/10 Florida State, No. --/16 Miami (Fla.), No. 16/-- Syracuse, No. 23/-- Western Kentucky.
Florida opened its outdoor campaign the past two weekends at the Black & Gold Challenge and Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, posting a bundle of national top 10s.
In addition to season-openers in primary events from current Gators, plenty of prominent Gator Greats will use the Pepsi Florida Relays as a springboard into their outdoor campaigns.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time World Champion Kerron Clement, 2016 World Indoor Championships gold medalist Marquis Dendy, 2013 World Championships qualifier Cory McGee, Olympians Eddie Lovett and Calvin Smith, two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Championships gold medalist Christian Taylor, as well as 2016 Olympic 4x400 relay gold medalists Arman Hall and Tony McQuay will all compete at the Relays.
Friday's and Saturday's action will be streamed live on SEC Network +, via Watch ESPN. Results are provided by Delta Timing.
