AS A SOPHOMORE (1984) – Competed as an all-arounder twice, turning in collegiate-best total of 36.95 at the Southeastern Conference Championships…in NCAA Championships’ team competition, tied for 21^st on the uneven bars (9.40) and tied for 10^th on balance beam (9.10)…Member of the Academic All-SEC Honor Roll. AS A FRESHMAN (1983) – Shared the 1983 SEC balance beam title with teammate Elfi Schlegel…one of Florida's top beam workers, scoring a high of 9.55.  PRIOR TO FLORIDA - Placed 13th all-around at 1981 Second Elite Nationals and 17th all-around at First Elite Nationals…also won 1981 Mid-Atlantic Gymnastic Directors Association (MAGDA League) titles in all-around, bars, beam and floor, and second place in vault…won 1978 and '79 USGF state championships in all-around and floor…1978 & ’79 New Jersey state champion in all-around and beam optionals…did not compete in 1980…was a member of the '82 Starlette School of Gymnastics team that won the state championship. PERSONAL - Graduate of Ridgewood High School…sister of Gator gymnast Lynn McDonnell…majoring in broadcasting.
