Ended his season by clocking career-best times in five events (100 Back, 200 Back, 100 Fly, 50 Free, 100 Free) at Florida’s Last Chance Meet… Finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in UF’s dual meet at Florida State with a time of 52.25 seconds… Was a member of two relay teams (200 FR, 400 MR) at the Georgia Tech Invitational… Made his UF debut in at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational where he competed in four events and recorded his best finish in the 200-yard backstroke prelims, as he placed 15th in 1:58.81.

Ranked the No. 25 recruit in the state of Florida by CollegeSwimming.com… Two-time FHSSA State Finalist in 2011… Two-time Shorecrest Prep team captain… Four-time Shorecrest Most Valuable Swimmer Award recipient… Was an All-American triathlete in 2011… Trained with St. Petersburg Aquatics Club under Fred Lewis… Was a member of the National Honor Society at Shorecrest… Became an Eagle Scout in 2011… Parents are John and Patti… Has one brother, Patrick… Chose Florida because he always wanted to be a Gator Great… Enjoys boating, fishing and reading in his spare time.
