Notched career-best times in the 50-yard (22.06), 100-yard (46.26), 200-yard (1:39.73) and 500-yard (4:28.02) freestyle events in Florida’s Last Chance Meet… Was a member of the Gators ‘400-yard medley ‘D’ relay team at the Georgia Tech Invitational… Competed in various freestyle events in UF’s dual meets against Tennessee, Minnesota and LSU… Made his UF debut in at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational where he competed in multiple events.
Prior to Florida:
Ranked the No. 33 recruit in the state of Florida by CollegeSwimming.com… Florida state High School All-American in the 500-yard freestyle… Was a member of Gainesville’s Florida state Championship team… Coached by Rob Ramirez at Gainesville… Outside of the pool, was AP Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society… Trained with the Gator Swim Club under Jaime Lewis… Parents are Annemarie Schuller and Jorg Bungert… Has two siblings, Alexander and William… Chose Florida over Indiana and Penn… Chose Florida because he wanted to swim for the one of the country’s top programs… Enjoys playing golf and basketball in his spare time.
