After coming to the University of Florida to audition for the BFA dance program, I really admired the school’s commitment towards academics and the arts. I always wanted to go to a large university with great scholastics and sports, and after visiting the school, I knew it was right for me. Creating an environment of joy, positivity and hard work is so important to me and something that I strive to bring to the table each and every day. It is crucial to pour energy into my teammates to create this uplifiting environment as I know I can count on them to reciprocate this attitude. I feel so blessed to be able to be on a team with girls that share the same goals and priorities as each other, as we all want what is best for the betterment and future of this team.
